My oil painting, Aglow in Amber, captures a winter woodland scene. Birch trees stand at the forefront, their silhouette contrasting against the soft light of the snow and setting sun. A still, partially snow-covered stream winds through, untouched by the freeze. The glowing amber hues from the near bank cast a warm, ethereal glow, beautifully offset by the cool, shadowed darkness of distant pines. The calm atmosphere whispers the day's end.
